Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi

After arrival at Delhi Airport in the late evening, meet our representative who’ll escort you to the one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is to be spent at leisure. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

Next morning after breakfast, move out on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions of Delhi cover Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, and President’s House. In the evening visit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Kathmandu

In the morning after breakfast, transfer to the Delhi airport to board a flight to Kathmandu. As you reach Kathmandu, you will be received by our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. After taking some rest, step out on an excursion to the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. Pay a visit to Manakamana temple enjoying the cable car ride of 15 to 20 minutes. Darshan at the Pashupatinath Temple located at the banks of river Bagmati. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Kathmandu

In the morning post breakfast, leave to visit the other major attractions of Kathmandu. The attractions scheduled for today are the Guhewari temple, Swayambhunath stupa and the Bouddhanath stupa. In the evening return to the hotel, enjoy sumptuous dinner and a comfortable night stay.

Day 5: Kathmandu

In the morning post breakfast, embark on a full day excursion to Patan city. The city is known for its wooden and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments. In the evening explore the surroundings to your liking. Enjoy dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Kathmandu – Chitwan

Post breakfast, drive straight to the Chitwan a rich natural area in the Terai. The park is a home to a total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish. It is renowned for its protection of one-horned Rhinoceros, crocodile and the Royal Bengal Tigers. As you reach Chitwan, get accommodated to one of listed forest lodge. After relaxing for a while, proceed to Chitwan National Park to enjoy jeep safari/canter ride hosted by a naturalist. Return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and night stay.

Day 7: Chitwan – Lumbini

Take breakfast at the hotel. Set out for the guided sightseeing tour covering places like Mahaparinirvana Temple & Stupas. Later in the day start for Lumbini-the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Check-in at the upon arrival in Lumbini. Later in the day start for a sightseeing tour to Lumbini covering attractions like  Vietnam Temple, Maya Garden Buddha Stupa, Japanese temple, Chinese temple and Ashoka Pillar. In the evening pay a visit to the birth place of Lord Buddha and the Maya Devi temple. Retire for the night at the hotel.

Day 8: Lumbini – Kushinagar

Relish breakfast at the hotel, drive straight to Kushinagar. Upon arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels.  Kushinagar is famous amongst the Buddhist devotees as the place Buddha finally attained Mahaparinirwana. After taking some rest, proceed to visit the Mukutbandan Stupa and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha. In the afternoon pay a visit to Nirvana Temple Ramabhar Stupa, Cremation site of Lord Buddha. Enjoy dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Kushinagar – Patna

After breakfast at the hotel, head straight to Patna, by surface. On reaching Patna, check-in at one of our listed hotels. The rest of the day is to spend relaxing in the hotel. In the evening visit the Patna Sahib and Patna Museum. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.<

Day 10: Patna – Rajgir – Bodhgaya

After breakfast, drive down to Bodhgaya. This is the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.  On the way visit Nalanda & Rajgir. As you reach Bodhgaya, check-in at one of our enlisted hotels. Rest and relax till afternoon. In the afternoon after lunch embark on a visit to Niranjana River and the Sujata village. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Bodhgaya

Next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. Visit the major tourist attractions like Mahabodhi temple, the Vishnupad Mandir and the Bodhi tree. In the evening relax at the bank of the Niranjana River. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Bodhgaya – Delhi

Next morning after breakfast, transferred to Gaya Railway Station in time to board an overnight train to Delhi.

Day 13: Delhi.

After reaching the Delhi railway station, meet our representative who’ll guide you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. The day is to be spent resting and relaxing. In the late evening, transfer to Delhi airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
