Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi

On arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax in the cozy comfort of your hotel room. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi & Manali

Next day embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. The city is dotted with many tourist attractions and receives frequent visitors throughout the year. The major tourist attractions of Delhi are Laxmi Narayan temple, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Raj Ghat. In the evening, revisit Red Fort to enjoy an impressive light and sound show. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Manali

In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Manali by road. Manali is a picturesque hill station encircled by snowy mountains and dense pinewoods with the meandering Beas River offering great scenic beauty to its visitors. On reaching Manali, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax in the hotel room for a while. Later in the day, proceed to a sightseeing tour of Manali. The major tourist attractions of Manali include Hadimba temple, Solang valley, Raghunath temple, Vashisht baths, Beas Kund, Jagannathi Devi temple and the Pandoh Dam. Day 4: Manali & Sarchu

Today after a sumptuous breakfast drive straight to Sarchu. It is an important stopover on the Leh-Manali highway featuring tented accommodation. It is situated between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulung La to the north, at an altitude of 4,290 m. The place closely resembles to Ladakh with its barren splendor. On reaching Sarchu, get accommodated at one of our listed camps for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Sarchu & Leh

Next morning drive to Leh. During the drive we cross Lachungla Pass. Stop midway at Pang for lunch. After lunch, resume drive to Leh. After crossing the highest road Tanglagla Pass we reach Leh. Check-in at one of our listed hotels for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Leh

In the morning after breakfast, embark on a monastery tour of Leh.  The major monasteries to visit include the Shey monastery. The monastery is located in a small Shey village, situated on the banks of Indus River.  The monastery features a blue haired Matireya Buddha made of copper and brass and is 17.5 meters high. Later in the day also visit the Thiksey and the Hemis monastery. After the visit return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Leh & Pangong Lake & Leh

Next morning after breakfast, move out for an excursion to Pangong Lake. The Pangong Lake is endorheic Lake situated at a height of 4350 mts in Himalayas. It takes four and half hour drive from Leh to reach this place. On the way we pass through Chang-la the world’s third highest motorable road. On reaching Pangong Lake enjoy the scenic surroundings and the sight of the deep blue water. After the visit return to Leh hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Leh & Nubra Valley

Post breakfast, drive straight to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La pass. The Khardungla pass is the world highest pass situated 42 kms from Leh. This pass connects Leh to the Nubra Valley.  On reaching Nubra Valley check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for the afternoon in the cozy comfort of your hotel room. Spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9: Nubra Valley

Early morning drive to Diskit Village in Nubra Valley. This village is famous for its apricot plantation. Also visit the Diskit monastery. This 350 years old monastery features a Maitreya Buddha statue, paintings, drums and Tibetan colour-patterned silk. Later in the day visit the Hunder Village to spot the famous double-humped Bactrian camels. Also visit the Samtanling Gompa in Sumur Village for its great collection of Tangkhas paintings, Buddha idols and frescoes. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Sumur to Leh

After breakfast in the morning, transfer to Leh.  After passing Khardungla pass the world highest motorable pass reach Leh. On reaching Leh check-in at one of our listed hotels. Spend the day resting and relaxing in the hotel room. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the Leh Bazaar for shopping souvenirs. Also visit the Leh Mosque. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 11: Leh to Uletokpo

Next morning drive to Uletokpo. Stop midway to visit Alchi monastery situated 70 Kms from Leh on the bank of the Indus River. The three large sized brightly colored images of Buddha made form clay are the focal point of this monastery. After visit resume drive to Uletokpo. On reaching Uletokpo, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After taking some rest visit the Jwalamukhi temple and the Maharana Pratap Sagar Dam. Retire for the night at the hotel.

Day 12: Uletokpo - Lamayuru - Uletokpo

Early in the morning, enjoy an excursion to Lamayuru monastery. The monastery is located 10 Kms from Leh and is situated on a big rock overlooking Indus valley. The monastery features caves carved out of the mountain wall and some of the rooms are richly furnished with carpets, Tibetan tables and butter lamps. It is one of the most largest and old Gompa of Ladakh. After the visit to the Lamayuru monastery drive back to Uletokpo hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Uletokpo - Leh

Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. Stop midway to visit the Likir and Spituk monastery. The Spituk monastery offers a commanding view of the Indus valley. The Dukhang Hall of the monastery has two rows of seats running the length of the walls. The monastery also has a great collection of ancient masks, antique arms and the fine thangkas. Also visit the Mahakal temple situated on a hilltop. After the visit return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Leh

Today the day is free for your own activities. Spend the day resting and relaxing in the cozy comfort of your hotel room. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the local market of Leh. In the evening enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15: Leh - Delhi

In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Leh airport to board a flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for the day in the hotel room. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 16: Delhi - Haridwar By Train - Rishikesh

Early morning, transfer to New Delhi railway station to board a train to Haridwar. As you reach Haridwar, visit the major tourist attractions like Brahmakund, Chandi Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, Mansa Devi temple, Sapta Rishi Ashram and the Sapt Sarovar. After the visit, resume drive to Rishikesh. On reaching Rishikesh check-in at one of our listed hotels. The major attractions of Rishikesh include Lakshman Jhula, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Ram Jhula, Gita Bhavan, Bharat Mandir and the Swarga Ashram. In the evening visit beautiful Aarti at the Triveni Ghat. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 17: Rishikesh - Harsil

After breakfast, transfer to Harsil. The landscape in Harsil is dotted with many small temples. On reaching Harsil, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while in the hotel room, proceed to Sattal. On reaching Sattal visit the Sat tal which is a mysterious combination of seven natural lakes. Later in the day visit Dharali an exquisite hamlet. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 18: Harsil - Gangotri - Bhojbasa

Post breakfast, drive to Bhojbasa. Stop along the way to visit the Gangotri temple which was commissioned by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century and is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi. After visiting the temple, resume drive to Bhojbasa. It is a scenic spot on the rugged terrain situated at an altitude of 3775 mts above sea level. It is the last point of accommodation on the way to the sacred Gaumukh glacier. Enjoy an overnight stay at the camps.

Day 19: Bhojbasa - Tapovan

Post breakfast, trek to Tapovan. It is a beautiful area beyond Gaumukh consisting of a beautiful meadow. Tapovan is situated at the feet of Mt. Shivling. It offers stunning views of surrounding peaks. On arrival check-in at the camps for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 20: Tapovan - Chirbasa

Next morning after breakfast trek to a small village called Chirbasa. This small village is located at an altitude of 10,000 ft. Spend the day exploring the beautiful scenic surroundings. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 21: Chirbasa - Gangotri - Maneri

Today after breakfast, drive to Maneri. Stop midway to visit Gangotri. It is considered one of the four Dhams. Lord Shiva is said to have received the river in his matted locks at Gangotri.  After the visit, continue drive to Maneri. On reaching Maneri, check-in at one of our listed tented accommodations. After straightening your backs for a while, proceed to visit the Vishwanath temple. Later enjoy trekking at Har-ki-Doon trek. While trekking, explore the natural beauty of Garhwal. Enjoy an overnight stay at Maneri.

Day 22: Maneri - Haridwar - Delhi

In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Haridwar railway station to board a train to Delhi. As you reach Delhi, transfer to one of our listed hotels for wash and change. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 23: Departure from Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, get off at railway station/ airport/ bus stand and carry on with your onward journey. The tour ends here.
