Itinerary
After an early morning arrival in Delhi, get transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Later, leave for city tour of the attraction of Old and New Delhi covering the Red Fort, the complex of Qutab Minar, Jantar Mantar etc. Stay overnight in Delhi
Day 2: Delhi – Sariska Tiger Reserve-
On day 2, post breakfast, begin driving towards Sariska Tiger Reserve, formerly the hunting grounds of Alwar state. It is the world’s first ever tiger reserve where the relocation of tigers has been done successfully. On arrival, check into your jungle resort. Later, leave for jungle excursion where you might spot wildlife species such as leopard, jungle cat, caracal, striped hyena, golden jackal, chital, sambhar, nilgai, chinkara,Tiger, peafowl, grey partridge, bush quail, sand grouse, tree pie, golden-backed woodpecker etc. Overnight in Sariska.
In the morning, again embark on a jungle drive into the park. Afterwards, begin driving towards to Jaipur. On the way, halt to visit the Amber Fort, a prime tourist attraction. The magnificent structure of this fort is a perfect blend of Hindu and Rajput architectural styles. Once inside explore various structures like Ganesh Pol, Sila Devi temple. Proceed to your pre-booked hotel. Later enjoy sightseeing in Jaipur City Palace , Jantar Mantar and the Royal observatory. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Jaipur - Ranthambore-
After breakfast, begin driving towards Sawai Madhopur to enjoy a thrilling stay at the Ranthambore National Park, one of the largest tiger reserves in the country. It is quite popular for housing a good population of big cats. On arrival, check-into your jungle lodge. Later in the evening, embark on a jungle excursion. Return to the lodge for staying overnight.
Days 5 and 6 of the tour are fixed for morning and evening jungle excursions into the national park. You can opt for an elephant or a jungle safari. During your safari, you may spot a large variety of flora and fauna. This former hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur is a major tourist attraction. During your safari, you spot numerous animal and bird species such as Chinkara, Common Palm Civets or Toddy cat, Coomon Yellow Bats, Desert Cats, Fivestriped Palm Squirels, Indian False Vampires, Kraits, Cobras, Common Kraits, Common Frog. The park also houses as many as 272 species of birds. Overnight stay.
Day 7: Ranthambore - Bharatpur-
Enjoy morning jungle drive into the park. Later, hit the road to go Bharatpur to visit the Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park, formerly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Upon arrival, check-in at your jungle resort. In the evening, embark on a short walk into where you can admire the vast flora of the park. Overnight stay at the lodge
On day 8 of the tour, take a boat ride and enjoy bird watching as well as animal spotting. This bird sanctuary is home to as many as 370 species of birds including Painted Stork, Great Egret, Common Parakeet, endangered Siberian Crane, Gadwall, Shoveler, Common Teal, Cotton Teal, Tufted Duck, Comb Duck, along with various animal species such as common Indian gray mongoose, soptted deer, fishing cat, Jackals, Hyenas etc. Stay overnight.
Today, in the morning you indulge in bird viewing. Later, begin driving to Agra. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Post lunch, embark on a city tour of Agra that includes the UNESCO World heritage Site of Taj Mahal- one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This white-colored marble mausoleum was erected on order of Shah Jahan, Mughal Emperor. Stay overnight.
Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh-
On the morning of the 10th day, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Khajuraho. On arrival, explore the World Heritage Site of Khajuraho covering the Western Group of Temples. These temples were constructed during the reign of Chandela ruler. Later, begin driving to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival, check into your hotel for overnight stay.
Days 11 and 12 of the tour are for morning and evening jungle excursion. There is a high probability that you may spot the big cats during the safaris as there is a high density of tiger population in this park. During your safari, you spot a large variety of flora and fauna. The main wildlife attraction of the safari includes Tiger, Panther, Spotted Deer, Sambhar deer, Nilgai (Blue bull), Gaur, Wild Boar along with around 280 species of birds. Wildlife safari into the former hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Rewa proves to be an exciting experience. This national park is known for being breeding grounds for a number species of deer. Overnight stay.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh - Kanha-
Begin driving towards the Kanha National Park. Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked jungle lodge. This national park is an inspiration behind the famous novel of Rudyard Kipling “Jungle Book”. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities such as admiring the surrounding lush greenery, taking a stroll in the jungle etc. Stay overnight.
The mornings and evenings of days 14 and 15 are fixed for jungle excursion, nature walks and elephant rides in the park. During your safari, you spot a large variety of flora and fauna. The park is known to be housing a good population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Indian wild dog and Barasingha, also known as the Pride of Kanha. Another major attraction of the park is the Bamni Dadar point, known as the Sunset Point. Amongst all the national park of the country, Kanha is one of the well-maintained ones. At night, after a whole day of wildlife safari, overnight stay.
The morning of day 16 is for jungle excursion. Have breakfast and relax for some time. After lunch, hit the road to go to Nagpur, famous as the winter capital of Maharashtra. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel for staying overnight. If time and energy permit, you can explore the surroundings on foot.
Day 17: Nagpur - Kolkata-
On day 17, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Kolkata. Once you reach, check into your pre-booked hotel. The afternoon is fixed for sightseeing in Kolkata that includes well-known attractions like the Victoria Memorial, Kali temple and Howrah Bridge. Stay overnight.
Day 18: Kolkata - Guwahati - Kaziranga-
In the morning, get transported to the airport to board a flight to Guwahati. On arrival, hit the road to go to Kaziranga National park, home to around 2-3rd of the world’s population of one-horned Rhino. This UNESCO World Heritage Site proves to be a great place for a nature walk on the first day. Stay overnight.
Days 19 and 20 of the tour are for exploring the flora and fauna of the park through morning and evening jungle rides (Jeep or Elephant safari) as well as nature walks. The park is home to a large population of nor only one-horned rhinos but other wild species too such as wild boar, Barasingha deer, Hog deer, Asian elephants, Rose-ringed parakeets, Jungle fowls, Pallas’s fish eagle, Great Indian Hornbill and Wreathed Hornbill, Old World babblers etc. The nights are also going to be amazing where you enjoy dinner around the bonfire and night stay at the resort.
Day 21: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Delhi-
In the morning, hit the road to go to Guwahati, from here board a flight to Delhi. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities where you can interact with the locals, can shop at the well-known known markets of the city, gorge on the lip-smacking street food. Stay overnight.
Day 22: Delhi - Departure-
Get transferred to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination
