Early morning, drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti. The trek starts from here to Yamunotri (6 km), either on foot, by horse, or by Doli at its own cost. The trek passes through a lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and several species of Himalayan shrubs.

Drive to Gangotri in the early morning, stop at Gangnani to take a holy plunge in Garam Kund, and then continue driving to Gangotri through the lovely Harsil Valley. Drive back to Delhi Airport via Haridwar to take a flight to Ahmedabad.
