Itinerary

In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin which includes a visit to the Dutch Palace Museum, St. Francis Church, Hill Palace Museum, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, and Chinese Fishing Nets.

Visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue in India also called the Dutch Palace. This house was built in 1545 and has been operational since then. Explore the museum in the palace to learn about the long colonial struggle in the city.

Next, visit the St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. This church was controlled by Portuguese, Dutch, and English from time to time. You can explore the site where Vasco Da Gama was buried for 14 years before his son took the remains of his father to Lisbon.

The most popular attraction during the tour is the Chinese Fishing nets. This unique fishing method is now a part of Kerala culture. The large nets fixed to the wooden structure and hanging high in several rows create a great view during the sunset. You can take a boat ride to enjoy a stunning view from the deck.
