Itinerary

Day 1: Dimapur – Kohima ( 75 Kms./ 03 Hrs approx.)-

Our representative will receive you at the Dimapur Airport, and you will head to Kohima from there. On arrival, you will have to complete all the check-in formalities at the hotel. After that, you relax a bit, and after freshening up, you will be taken to the Kohima War Centenary. Post this, you will return to the hotel. Have a filling dinner and tuck yourself into the cozy bed for some sleep.

Note: Kohima War Centenary remains closed on Sundays.

Day 2: Kohima: Enjoy the Hornbill festival-

After having a filling breakfast, you will be taken to the Kisema Village, where you will see all the traditions and customs that Nagas follow during their world popular “Hornbill Festival.” You will spend the entire day enjoying the festival by dancing to their traditional songs with them. Then, enjoy the local tribe’s performances.

For lunch, enjoy the local cuisines that are highly delicious. After a beautiful day, you will be taken to the hotel in the evening. You will have your dinner and go to bed to get enough sleep for the next day.

Day 3: Kohima – Khonoma - Kohima-

You will get an early breakfast, post which you will be taken to the Kisema Village yet again to start things from where you left yesterday. After you have lunch in the village, you visit Khonoma.

You can explore the whole place, take pictures and buy souvenirs. You will return to the hotel in Kohima in the evening. Dinner will be served, after which you can give yourself some rest.

Day 4: Kohima – Kaziranga ( 240 Kms./ 06 Hrs.)-

After having a delicious breakfast, you will head to Kaziranga on a road trip. On arrival, you will have to complete the check-in process. Then, comfort yourself and rest for the day. You can spend it on your leisure as well. In the evening, you will have your dinner and have a peaceful sleep in the room of your resort.

Day 5: In Kaziranga-

You will have to wake up early to enjoy the elephant safari and the bird songs during the sunrise. The safari is most enjoyed between 5:30 and 6:30. During the safari, you can spot one-horned Rhinoceros, tigers, wild buffalo, elephants, various deer, pythons, various migratory birds, and many other wildlife species. Post safari, you will head to the hotel for some refreshment.

Once you are done with breakfast, take a stroll to the nearby places and enjoy the view. Visit the tea gardens, orchid sanctuary, and other nearby places. You will get lunch at the hotel itself. Next, you again visit the Kaziranga National Park for another safari trip but in a jeep. After returning, you can enjoy your evening the way you want to. Have an early dinner and take some sleep.

Day 6: Kaziranga – Guwahati (200 Kms./ 05 Hrs.)-

Post breakfast at Kaziranga, you will have to check out from the hotel and head to the next destination, which is Guwahati. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and take some rest. Once freshened up, you will visit the famous Kamakhya Temple. Then, in the afternoon, enjoy cruising in the Brahmaputra river.

After returning from cruising, you are free to spend the evening and night at your leisure. You can take a tour of the city and go on a shopping spree at the local market if that pleases you. Have an overnight stay on the comfy bed for a comfortable sleep.

Day 7: Leave Guwahati-

Post breakfast, you will have to complete the checkout process, after which you will be taken to the Guwahati airport or Railway station for your onward journey.
