North East with Orissa Tour is planned to let you explore and rejuvenate in the lap of nature as you unwind yourself in the winding roads of Guwahati, Kaziranga Wildlife Reserve, and Jorhat. Take a leisurely walk in the lush green gardens, vivid landscapes, and the revered monasteries of the North East region. During the North East trip, you will enjoy some time in the cities of Bhubaneswar and Puri. During your stay in Bhubaneswar, enjoy an excursion to Lalitgiri, Udaygiri, and Ratnagiri, which are the holy destinations for many Buddhism devotees. Attend prayer ceremonies at Jagannath temple, followed by a city tour. Also, visit the famous Sun temple of Konark. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Kolkata-

After arriving at the Kolkata airport, our representative will assist you to one of our listed hotels. Spend the day resting and relaxing in the cozy comfort of the hotel room. In the evening, you may take a leisurely walk to explore the local market of Kolkata. Stay the night in the hotel.

Day 2: Kolkata-

Next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kolkata. The major tourist attractions of Kolkata include Victoria Marble Palace, Science City, Metro Rail, Memorial Hall, Belur Math, Mother Teresa Home, China Town and Rabindra Setu. In the evening visit the Kali temple for attending the prayer ceremony. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Kolkata – Guwahati-

The next morning after an early breakfast, transfer to Kolkata airport to board a flight to Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati, check in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while embark on a sightseeing tour of Guwahati. The major tourist attractions of Guwahati cover Assam State Museum, Pandu, Basistha Ashram, Bhubaneshwari Temple, and the Kamakhya Temple. During the evening visit, the Sualkuchi Village situated 32 km from Guwahati famous for Golden Muga Silk. In fact, silk grown all over the state found its way to Sualkuchi. Retire for the night in the hotel.

Day 4: Guwahati - Kaziranga-

Post breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park by road.  Kaziranga National Park is home to the world's largest Indian rhinoceros population, as well as many other threatened species. This national park is situated at the foot of Mikir Hill and on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River. On reaching Kaziranga, check in at one of our listed forest resorts. After taking some rest, explore Kaziranga National Park on a jeep safari. In the evening get enthralled watching tribal dance performances by the locals. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the Wildlife resort.

Day 5: Kaziranga-

Early morning, set out to enjoy full-day game viewing at Kaziranga National Park. Return to the hotel for breakfast. There is a western, central, and an eastern range. Today after breakfast, move out to explore the central range which gives the best viewing chances for rhinos, elephants and swamp deer plus plenty of bird life. Return to the Wildlife resort in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Kaziranga – Jorhat-

In the morning start on a 2 hour 30 minutes drive to reach Jorhat. On reaching Jorhat, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Relax for a while in your hotel room. The major tourist attractions of Jorhat include Majuli, Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar, Lachit Borphukan's Maidam, Chandra kanta Handique Bhavan and the Thengal Bhawan. Spend the evening in accordance to your liking. Stay the night in the hotel.      

Day 7: Jorhat – Kolkata-

Post breakfast, transfer to the Jorhat airport to board a connecting flight to Kolkata. As reach Kolkata airport, transfer to one of your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Kolkata – Bhubaneswar-

After breakfast, transfer to Kolkata airport to take a flight to Bhubaneswar. Upon reaching Bhubaneswar, check-in to one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for a while in the hotel room. After lunch embark on a sightseeing tour of Bhubaneswar. The major tourist attractions of Bhubaneswar include the Rajarani temple, Mukteswar temple, Lingraj temple and the Brahmeswar Bagh. Return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable night stay.

Day 9: Bhubaneshwar-

Post breakfast, embark on an excursion to Lalitgiri. En-route visit, Udaygiri and Ratnagiri.  This ancient lush village of Lalitgiri is a holy destination for a large number of Buddhism devotees. Visit the Chaitya hills an important tourist attraction, as several stupas can be found on this hillside. Also visit the brilliant piece of Buddhist architecture atop the Pushpagiri hill. After the visit drive to Udaygiri and Ratnagiri sites which are also enriched with typical engraved Buddhist monuments and ancient sculptures. In the evening return to the hotel in Bhubaneswar for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Bhubaneswar – Puri-

In the morning drive straight to Puri. As you reach Puri, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Begin your tour in the city by paying a visit to the Jagannath Temple. This temple of Lord Jagannath makes Puri one of the four dhamas in India. The walls of the temple are embellished with exquisite carvings. The pillars that provide support to the temple are adorned with pictures depicting the life of Lord Krishna. Later in the day visit the major tourist attractions of Puri covering Swargadwar, Sakshi Gopal Temple, and the Gundicha Temple. In the evening visit the long and quiet beach of Puri. You can pick up souvenirs, for your loved ones from the numerous stalls lined up around the beach. Retire for the night in the hotel in Puri.

Day 11: Puri – Konarak – Puri-

In the morning drive to Konark to visit the famous Konark Sun temple. This temple is worshipped by people from all the sects and walks of life, as the Sun God is highly revered. After visiting Konark Sun temple, drive back to Puri. Spend rest of the day at leisure. In the evening enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 12: Puri-

On the following day enjoy excursion at the Puri beach. Sea shells are collected here in large quantity. These are the main wealth of Puri sea beach. It is highlight witnessing the dawn over the sea and fishing boats. In the late evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Puri – Bhubaneswar – Kolkata-

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar from Puri. On reaching Bhubaneswar board a flight to Kolkata. After reaching Kolkata airport board a connecting flight for your onward journey.
