Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu

After arrival at the Kathmandu airport, meet our representative to arrange smooth transfer to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Later in the evening take a leisurely walk to explore the local market of Kathmandu. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Morning set out for Kathmandu sightseeing. Visit the Swayambhunath stupa, which is considered to be the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. After the visit to stupa proceed to Kantipur - the capital of King of Nepal to visit the Kumari temple. Kumari temple, the house of living Goddess is known for its magnificent carvings as well as its divine inhabitant. Also visit the Kopan Monastery and the Hanuman Dhoka Square. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara

Next morning after breakfast, drive straight to Pokhara. Pokhara is an enchanting landscape in a quiet and tranquil valley. It is a starting point for many of Nepal's trekking and rafting tours. Pehwa Lake with the mesmerizing Mt. Fishtail in the backdrop is a perfect place to visit during your Bhutan & Nepal tour . The major attractions of Pokhara include Poon Hill, Peace temple, International Mountain Museum, Begnas Lake and Gupteswar Gupha. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 4: Pokhra – Chitwan

In the morning drive straight to Chitwan. On reaching Chitwan, get accommodated at one of our listed forest lodge. After resting for a while, move out on an excursion to Chitwan National Park. It is renowned for its protection of one-horned Rhinoceros, crocodile and the Royal Bengal Tigers. Enjoy jeep safari/canter being accompanied by a naturalist. After the safari return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chitwan National Park

Enjoy full-day jungle activities including jungle stroll, elephant ride visit to villages. In the morning hours enjoy game viewing. After game viewing, return to the resort for lunch. Later in the day take a walk in the park to explore its rich flora and fauna. You may also enjoy elephant safari at the Chitwan National Park. Return to the hotel in the evening for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Chitwan – Kathmandu

In the early morning hours, enjoy bird watching being accompanied by a naturalist. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu. As you reach Kathmandu, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for the remaining day at the hotel room. In the evening take a leisurely walk to explore the nearby area of Kathmandu. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 7: Kathmandu

Early in the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The other major tourist sites include Pashupatinath temple and the Boudhnath stupa. Boudhnath stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world and the most popular site in Nepal. This stupa was commissioned by King Man Deva on advice of goddess Mani Jogini, on the octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. Spend night at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 8: Kathmandu – Paro

Today fly to Bhutan's beautiful town Paro. The flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular of all mountain flights. During the flight one can visit Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and other prominent peaks. On arrival at the Paro airport, transfer to hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. In the evening take a walk around town's main street. Enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9: Paro

After breakfast, embark on visit to Taktshang Monastery. This monastery is also called Tiger's Nest and has a long interesting history. In the afternoon visit the major tourist attractions of Paro covering Ta Dzong, National Museum, Rinpung Dzong and a traditional farm house to discover lifestyle of Bhutanese people. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Paro – Punakha

Morning drive to remnants of Drukgyel Dzong followed by visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples of Bhutan. Later proceed towards Punakha across Dochula pass. In the evening, visit the local market at Punakha. Enjoy an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Punakha – Wangdue Phodrang – Thimphu

Post breakfast, proceed to Thimphu. En-route, visit the Wangdue Phodrang. On reaching Wangdue Phodrang, check-in at one of your pre-booked hotel. After resting for a while in your hotel room, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Wangdue Phodrang including the Chimme Lhakhang, Phobjikha Valley, Gangtey Monastery and the Langdra Nye. After the visit continue to Thimphu. On reaching Thimphu, check-in at one of our listed hotels for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Thimphu

Next day visit to Trashichho Dzong, situated on the banks of Wang Chhu. Also visit Bhutan's National Library which is located close to the Thangkha painting school and contains arguably the best collection of religious and historic literature in the Himalayas. The Memorial Chorten and Handicrafts Emporium are other places of attraction. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 13: Thimphu – Paro & Departure

In the morning, proceed to Paro international airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
