Itinerary

Day 1: Bangalore - Coorg ( Approx 270 Kms/ 06 Hrs drive )

Your tour will start with your arrival in Bengaluru. Our tour representative will meet you at the Bengaluru airport or railway station and from there you will start your road trip to Coorg. Renowned as the Scotland of India, Coorg is nestled in the lap of Western Ghats. En route, you will visit Bylakuppe Tibetan Settlement also known as Golden Temple. It is the second-largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet after Dharamshala. It houses several monasteries of all major Vajrayana (Indo-Tibetan Buddhist) lineages. Then you will proceed to Kaveri Nisargadhama, which is situated on the banks of River Kaveri. It is a wonderful picnic spot where you can enjoy and have fun. Later, you will proceed towards Coorg. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure.

Day 2: Coorg: Sightseeing tour of the city

Wake up to a hearty meal and then proceed for the sightseeing tour of Coorg. Visit Talacauvery, which is located in the picturesque location of Brahmagiri hills. It is a holy place among Hindus as it is considered as the origin place of River Kaveri. There is a beautiful Talacauvery Temple built here. Visit the temple and take a holy dip in the water tank. Then visit Bhagamandala, which is the confluence point of three sacred rivers namely Kaveri, Sujyothi, and Kanike. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is named Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple.
