Itinerary

Day 1: Chennai: Arrival, Leisure, Stay-

We will welcome you to the capital of Tamil Nadu just when you will arrive at the Chennai International Airport. First, meet and acknowledge the warm welcome from our tour representative. From there, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in at the reception, and relax for a few hours.

Day 1 of your Andaman tour package from Chennai will be at your leisure. But you can make it count by shopping at the local markets and elegant malls. Later, return to the hotel for dinner before an overnight stay!

Day 2: Chennai Sightseeing-

Begin your day 2 with a hearty meal as you will be taken to explore city's tourist attractions. Your Andaman to Chennai itinerary has so much to offer on day 2. First, you can tour St. Mary's Church to seek blessings at Kapaleeswarar Temple. After that, you will cover more attractions like the Theosophical Society, Sri Parthasarathy temple, and San Thomas Cathedral Basilica Mylapore, Kalakshetra, Fort St. George are a few more places to tour. After that, travel back to your hotel for a scrumptious dinner and an overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 3: Chennai to Mahabalipuram (57 km / 1 hr 40 min-approx.)-

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast served at the hotel. Then complete the early morning check-out. After that, we will drive you toward Mahabalipuram. On your way to Mahabalipuram, halt at the sacred city of Kanchipuram. Being an important center of Jainism, Buddhism, and Hinduism. You can visit temples like Kamakshi Amman and Ekambareswarar Temple. After that, continue with your journey to Mahabalipuram. On arriving at one of our listed hotels, check-in and take a rest for a while. You will spend your night at the hotel after a delicious dinner.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram-

Your 14 days itinerary has the sightseeing of the Mahabalipuram right after your breakfast. Today, you will visit the Pallava Dynasty-built temples and monuments of the 7th and 8th centuries. Additionally, the city is famous for its Shore temple and Bhagiratha Penance, which will be visited today. Feel free to explore the local markets for handicrafts and South Indian cuisines in the evening. Later that overnight leisure stays at the hotel, followed by dinner.

Day 5:Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry (96 km / 2 hr-approx.)-

Your itinerary on day 5 has a road trip to Pondicherry as the highlight. Rise early with a hearty meal, do the check-out, and meet our driver outside the hotel. He will drive you to Pondicherry, where you will be sightseeing like the famous Aurobindo, The Sacred Heart Basilica, and Promenade Beach. As dusk settles, make a check-in to your hotel and spend the night after dinner.

Day 6:Pondicherry to Thanjavur (182 km / 5hr-approx.)-

On the sixth day of your package, you will leave for Thanjavur via road trip after a delicious breakfast. As per our proposed itinerary, visiting attractions in Thanjavur like the Brihadeshwara Temple and fort, Thanjavur Palace and Museum would be the top priority. Overnight stay would be at a hotel in Thanjavur.

Day 7:Thanjavur to Trichy Arrival (60km / 1 hr 20 min-approx.)-

Rise up to the toothsome breakfast, bid farewell to Thanjavur, and take a road trip to Trichy after completing the check-out. On arrival at Trichy, complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. During the day, you would be heading for a sightseeing tour of the city. Today, you will visit tourist attractions like Rock Fort Temple, Srirangam Temple, and Jambukeshwara temple. After an eventful day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 8: Trichy to Chennai (By Train)-

On the 8th day, rise up to the delicious breakfast, pack your bags, and check-out of your hotel. You would be dropped at the station to board the next train to Chennai in the morning. On your arrival in Chennai, you will be transferred to your hotel. The evening is at your leisure, and you can spend it on the Marina beach. At last, conclude your day with dinner and overnight sleep in your room.

Day 9:Chennai to Port Blair (By flight)-

Wake up to the hearty meal at the hotel, complete the check-out formalities, and meet our representative outside the hotel. He will drive you to the Chennai International Airport, where you will board the flight to Port Blair as a part of your Andaman holiday from Chennai.

As you arrive at Port Blair's Veer Savarkar International Airport, our tour representative will escort you to a pre-booked hotel/resort. After that, you will rest for a while in your room. Next, visit the famous Anthropological Museum, which displays various tools, art, and handicrafts of the native aboriginal tribes of the Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Post that, visit the historical Cellular Jail, Fisheries Museum, Science Center, and Corbyn's beach. To make your evenings more memorable in Port Blair, you would be entertained with a light and sound show at the Cellular Jail, which narrates the tales of the freedom struggle in India. Finally, you will be escorted back to the hotel for overnight sleep after dinner.

Note: This suggested Chennai to Andaman tour itinerary is a sample one. And hence, we have yet to include the entry charges and activities price in Port Blair. So be prepared to pay on your own if you go with our sample itinerary.

Day 10: Port Blair Island Hopping-

Arise to a tasty breakfast and dedicate this day to cruising towards the mesmerizing Ross Island, Viper Island, and North Bay. Post breakfast, start your journey to Ross Island via boat. This island held historical importance and was also the capital of Port Blair during British rule in India. Next, you would be escorted to North Bay Island from Ross Island, famous for its exotic coral and marine life.

The underwater exploration would be done in a glass-bottom boat so that you can watch the flourishing marine life from a safe distance. Then, one evening, continue your journey to Harbor Cruise, also known as Viper Island.

Before sunset, you will be escorted to Port Blair via ferry. Upon arrival, relax, have your dinner, and doze off!

Day 11: Havelock Island-

After a drool-worthy morning meal, embark on a journey to one of the most reputed islands across Andaman, Havelock island. Post the check-out, meet our representative outside the hotel. As a part of your Andaman Tamil Nadu tour package from Chennai, your transfer to Port Blair's Jetty is included in the package.

Board the ferry to Havelock Island, and upon arrival, our tour representative will take you to the resort. Post some hours of relaxation, visit the Kalapathar beach, which looks breathtaking in the evenings. You would be staying at Havelock for the night, where dinner will be served to you as part of your itinerary.

Day 12: Port Blair: Return to the Capital Town-

Your Andaman Tamil Nadu tour package on day 12, after a tasty breakfast, will take you to the Blue Flag Coveted Radhanagar Beach. Spend some time here and even indulge in watersports at an additional cost. After spending a few lovely hours relaxing and sunbathing at the beach, you can even go for a nice swim in the ocean. By noon, leave for Port Blair via ferry. Upon arrival, do the check-in formalities, and enjoy the day at leisure. Afterward, spend the night relaxing in your hotel at Port Blair.

Day 13: Port Blair - Mount Harriet-

This is the last day of a special Andaman Tamil Nadu tour package. Right after breakfast, head towards Mount Harriet, supposedly the British's summer headquarters and the highest peak in South Andaman. You can have a friendly and fascinating view of the outer islands and the sea from the top. Feel free to shop in the local market and then retire to your hotel for an overnight stay in the evening.

Day 14: Chennai: Fly back to Chennai- Departure-

Rise the mouthwatering breakfast because your 14 Days Andaman Tamil Nadu tour package ends today! Pack your belongings, and complete the check-out formalities. Meet our representative outside the hotel. You will be dropped off at the international airport for your further journey. Fly back to Chennai with the beautiful memories of these emerald islands.
